A spin-down D20 is exactly what it sounds like! Instead of the numbers being arranged so opposite faces add up to 21 (1 opposite 20, 2 opposite 19, etc.), a spin-down has the numbers are arranged sequentially (1, 2, 3, 4, etc. are all next to each other in descending order).
